Africana Studies Faculty Present at SWPACA Conference

Africana Studies Faculty members Dr. Andrea Mays and Dr. Stephen Bishop presented at the Southwest Popular/American Culture Association (SWPACA) Conference on February 24th.
This photo was taken after Dr. Mays' Black Studies panel presentation that examined the depictions of Africans and the African Continent in American cinema; unveiling the enduring legacy of racial capitalism and colonial exploitation.
