Oral History Capacity-Building Forum: Featuring Dr. Natasha Howard

Earlier this year, the Center for Regional Studies sponsored four UNM professors and two UNM graduate students to attend the weeklong “Voces Oral History Research Summer Institute” at The University of Texas at Austin. The participants were from UNM’s Africana Studies, American Studies, English, Honors, and Spanish and Portuguese.

Dr. Natasha Howard, professor of Africana Studies at UNM was among the 2018 graduates of the Voces Oral History Research Summer Institute.

At the upcoming forum, participants will share what they learned during the workshop and how they are applying or will apply that knowledge to their own research.
