This discussion will be developed from Dr. Becknell’s participation in the American Council on Educations Aspiring Leaders Program on October 19-20, which is focused on attracting mid-level administrators from diverse backgrounds to increase senior-level leadership ranks in higher education.

Dr. Charles Becknell, Jr. is the Associate Director of, and Lecturer in African Studies. His research interest is in Black resistance in education, religion and the criminal justice system.
