Dr. Robert F. Jefferson presented a paper at the 99th Annual Meeting of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. The paper was entitled Cutting Against the Grain: World War II Ex-GI Aesthetics and African American Protest Politics in the Civil Rights Era and was part of the Perspectives on 20th Century Black Political Studies program.
