Dr. Martin's works in public health policy accepted for publication and presentation

Dr. Jamal Martin is listed as a secondary or co-author of a "case study and companion materials" that were accepted and published for use in future instruction by the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) in collaboration with the Association of American Colleges & Universities (AAC&U). This 'case study' met qualifications and guidelines for U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Healthy People 2020 and Education for Health in the category of Successful Practices for Clinical Health Professions.

In addition his proposal Critical Race Theory: Praxis in Global Health and International Human Rights Law Education was accepted for the 2012 conference at Teacher's College, Columbia University. This is the Sixth Annual Conference of the Critical Race Studies in Education Association. This year's theme is: Race, Citizenship, Activism, and the Meaning of Social Justice for the 21st Century: The Legacy of Professor Derrick Bell.
